Ready made plastic model, scale 1:400, height: 165mm.
Atlas V rocket, the newest of the Atlas rocket family that was originally used in intercontinental ballistic missiles, is now the workhorse of the US space program launching payloads into space. It employs a russian-built RD-180 engine for its first stage as part of the Common Core Booster (CCB), and an american RL10 engine for the Centaur upper stage. The modular makeup of the Atlas V offers greater operational efficiency for both military and commercial tasks, including the launch mission (AV-012) of X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle (OTV) on 22 April 2010.
